Summitt Energy is now a proud sponsor of Olive Branch for Children, a non-profit organization that helps remote communities in Tanzania assess their primary needs and establish programs that target the most vulnerable.
Run by Ontario’s Deborah McCracken, the organization has been operating several programs focused on HIV/AIDS prevention and care, early childhood education and food security. All of their programs are community-based and community-led, helping to empower the local community. This unique model is easily replicated and implemented by other communities.
Since 2005, Olive Branch for Children has supported and counselled hundreds of people living with HIV, constructed medical clinics, set-up Montessori schools, provided food support, delivered healthcare education and more.
