Summitt Energy is proud to sponsor the Autumn Classic Golf Tournament for the second year in a row. This annual fundraiser is organized by the Hunt Family to support the Children’s Health Foundation.
Fiona Hunt was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) just after her first birthday. At 15 months, she endured rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, and 6 months in hospital isolation. She turned 6 this April and has come a long way despite the hardships and challenges.
The fundraiser is the family’s way to ensure that every child in need has the opportunity to receive the same kind of treatment and support that Fiona got. The family donates all proceeds to the Children’s Health Foundation as it took science, dedication, research and hearts of so many people to make sure Fiona is with them today.
