Hamilton Out of the Cold Program

Summitt Energy has been a proud sponsor of the Hamilton Out of the Cold program for the past two years, along with the Design Hope organization.

Hamilton Out of the Cold Program started in the hearts of Sister Carole Anne Guay, a Sister of St. Joseph, and her friend Ms. Gloria Colizza. They invited others to share their vision and dream of feeding the poor and giving them a place to lay their heads. The program began its first year on December 1, 1997, at James St. Baptist Church.  Since then, it has grown to include the Design Hope organization, a community music and art organization that raises money for Hamilton Out of the Cold.  By contributing to these programs, Summitt Energy has been able to provide hot meals to over 125 men, women and families in need each year.
